Cookie
Cookies are lines of text used to perform automatic authentication, session tracking and storage of specific information about users accessing the server, such as favourite websites or, in the case of internet shopping, the contents of their “shopping carts”. Cookies are small text strings sent by a server to a web client (usually a browser) and then sent back from the client to the server (without being modified) each time the client accesses the same portion of the same web domain. Every domain that is visited with the browser can set cookies. Since a typical Internet page contains objects from many different domains and any one of them can set cookies, it is normal to host many hundreds of cookies in one’s browser. Cookies come in different types.
Technical Cookies
Technical cookies are those used for the sole purpose of “carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide such a service” (cf. Art. 122, para. 1 of the Code). They are not used for any further purposes and are normally installed directly by the website owner or operator. They can be divided into navigation or session cookies, which ensure normal navigation and use of the website (allowing, for example, to make a purchase or authenticate to access restricted areas); analytics cookies, assimilated to technical cookies where they are used directly by the website operator to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site functionality cookies, which allow the user to navigate according to a set of selected criteria (e.g. language, products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service rendered to the same. Users’ prior consent is not required for the installation of such cookies, while the obligation to provide information pursuant to Article 13 of the Code remains in place, which the site operator, if it only uses such devices, may provide in the manner it deems most appropriate.
Analysis cookies from third party services
These cookies are used to collect information on the use of the Site from users in an anonymous form such as: pages visited, time spent, traffic origins, geographical origin, age, gender and interests for the purpose of marketing campaigns. These cookies are sent from third party domains outside the Site.
Cookies to integrate third party software products and functions
This type of cookie integrates functionality developed by third parties within the pages of the Site such as icons and preferences expressed in social networks for the purpose of sharing Site content or for the use of third party software services (such as software to generate maps and other software offering additional services). These cookies are sent from third party domains and partner sites that offer their functionality between the pages of the Site.
Profiling cookies
Profiling cookies are designed to create profiles of the user and are used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user when browsing the web. This site uses technical and analytics cookies. According to current legislation, it is not required to ask for consent, as they are necessary to provide the services requested.
For all other types of cookies, consent may be expressed by the User in one or more of the following ways:
– by means of specific configurations of the browser used or the related computer programs used to navigate the pages that make up the Site.
– By changing the settings when using third-party services.
Both of these solutions may prevent the User from using or viewing parts of the Site.
Third-party websites and services
The Site may contain links to other websites that have their own privacy policy, therefore Camping Sarathei & C. s.n.c. is not responsible for these sites.
Most browsers are set to accept cookies automatically. The user is therefore free to set the browser to accept them, accept them in part or disable them completely. Each browser has different procedures for managing the settings.
